Another downtown Senior! Tis the season. I met up with Jake and his mom for an “urban feel” senior session. The weather was a blessing and the light was perfect. Thanks Marilyn and JAKE for the get together. 😉
Simple and Easy: that is what this session was.
We started with “Your in ROTC- will you be going into the miliary”? Answer was an immediate “Yes ma’am”. (As polite and “military” as it could get.) 😉 Marshal was so much fun and so easy to get to flash that great big smile! We started in colorful downtown Grand Forks and then headed over to the Red River for some setting sun shots before we ran out of light.
(Note to self- September=earlier session times)
Thank you Marshal for such a fun session. I know you will do well in your service to the US Marines and we will be an honored country to have you serving us.
You won’t have to look far to realize who Erica and Trevor are rooting for in the NFL. I , on the other hand, still hold the “whoever has the best colors on their uniform” position. 😉
Thank you Erica and Trevor for an enjoyable afternoon in the park! And for sharing your awesome little 6 month old with me, for just a little while.
I had the chance to meet with the Ronan family at the beautiful Myra Museum in Grand Forks. I had the blessing of shooting Mitchel’s senior photos this last April, so it was awesome to meet the rest of the family. Thank you Kim and Roger for sharing some of your Saturday, and for the blessing of an afternoon spent with an awesome group of kids!
I met Melanie and David at the beautiful University Park for some photo time in between the ceremony and reception. You will see at the end our attempt at getting the newly blended family in a full shot was not in 20 month old Michael’s plans..;)…so we decided on some fun seperate shots of Dave with his littles and Melanie with her sweet Michael. Thank you to you both for sharing this little bit of your special day with me.
A word my mom always told me was that the best marriages were made up of two people who each felt that they got the better end of the deal- I pray this is the mark of your marriage from this moment on. May you always bring out the best in one another.
This is a very special shot for Melanie. What a beautiful way to honor her brother who passed away, keeping him close to her heart for her special day.
